Stern Marine has always held environmental impact and quality as its first concern in design and construction.

Stern Marine understands that the shoreline area is an important habitat for a variety of aquatic organisms, including fish. Stern Marine makes sure that all of the appropriate sediment and erosion control measures (i.e. silt fences) are in place.

On certain projects, instead of excavating into the soil bank and slope or removing tree roots which would distrub top of bank, driven piles are an option that will reduce or eliminate the amount of soil that must be removed.
